The app automatically detects your region and sets the language accordingly. Currently, we support the languages English and Dutch.

Here are some instructions to change the language:

1) Log in to the app: Open the MIA app and log in using your credentials.

2) Access your profile: Tap on the circular profile icon located in the upper right corner of the screen. This will take you to your profile page.

3) Navigate to Settings: Within your profile page, locate the section labeled "MIA app" and tap on it to access the app-specific settings.

4) Find the "Change Language" (or equivalent in other languages)option: Scroll down within the "Settings" menu until you find the "Change Language" button.

5) Select Language: After tapping the "Change Language" button, you will see a list of supported languages. Choose your desired language and tap "Change". Your language is now changed and set.

If you cannot find the MIA app in your app store, it may not be available in your region. We are continuously expanding our availability.

You can create an account using your personal email address or utilize Single Sign-On with your Google account. This provides a quick and secure registration process.

The MIA app offers three primary services: MIA Basic Health Advice, MIA Complete Advice and MIA Premium eConsult, each designed to address different user needs.

MIA Complete health advice is ideal for those with more generic health questions. You can ask your questions using your voice, and our medical team will provide answers. This includes a speech-to-text open question session.

MIA Premium eConsult connects you with certified GPs for real-time consultations. MIA guides you through an interactive medical interview before the consultation, ensuring a comprehensive and personalized experience. This service also includes two complementary complete health advice sessions for the first two purchases.

For complete health advice, expect responses within 24 hours to ensure thorough consideration of your health query. With our MIA Premium eConsult service, healthcare professionals typically respond within an hour for a more immediate consultation experience.

This option is ideal for those who have a specific health complaint or issue. With this option MIA will present your a dynamic interactive medical questionnaire. This medical interview diligently will ask you all the necessary questions required for the doctor to deliver accurate and proper expert advice. The way our physicians interpret your health query, will be similar to what you would expect when visiting your actual family doctor. At this moment we support the following health complaints.

Yes, the MIA app is accessible around the clock. Response times for MIA Basic & Complete Advice are within 24 hours, ensuring you have access to timely health information. For MIA Premium eConsult, responses typically take up to an hour, even during off-peak hours.

The services provided are considered tailored health advice and may or may not be covered by your insurance. Coverage depends on the policies of your insurer, and we recommend checking with them for clarification.

In case of app issues, we recommend trying the following steps

> If the problem persists, consider reinstalling the app
> If neither of these resolves the issue, please contact the Medvice Helpdesk via our website (coming soon) and provide detailed information about the problem, including the steps leading to the crash.

Payments for our services can be conveniently made using credit card information and Apple Pay. We are continually exploring additional payment methods to enhance your experience.

Cash refunds are not possible, but users receive a credit refund for future use. Please note that credit refunds are not available if the session is canceled by the user.

Yes, both you and the health professional have access to your previous sessions, ensuring continuity of care and the ability to track your health journey.

You can choose "Other Complaint" if your health issue is not listed, ensuring that you can seek guidance for a wide range of health concerns. Medvice will periodically add more complaints to the platform over time.

The MIA app does not currently support mental health complaints. If you have mental or psychological concerns, please reach out to your Family Physician or GP, who can provide appropriate assistance and care.

In case of an accident or urgent symptoms, always call your GP or the Emergency Department. Using the MIA app and its services is at your own risk, and neither the healthcare professional nor Medvice can be held responsible for any type of injuries or complications.

Our health professionals are primarily certified GPs and physicians. In the future, registered nurses will also provide health advice under supervision, ensuring you receive guidance from qualified experts more swiftly.

While we do not have a telephone center or calling services, you can reach out to us via our website contact form (coming soon), ensuring prompt responses to your queries.

Consultations can last up to 10 minutes per session, with audiovisual calls usually lasting a maximum of 5 minutes, allowing for thorough discussions and quick resolutions.

In the near future, you will be able to upload images during your session to provide a visual context for your health concern. Rest assured that these images will be deleted at the end of the session, ensuring your privacy.

The MIA app does not offer second opinions, as our services are not considered formal medical consultations. We encourage you to consult with your local primary healthcare provider or specialist for second opinions.

Yes, the MIA app strictly adheres to HIPAA & GDPR regulations, safeguarding your patient data and ensuring confidentiality throughout your interactions with our platform.

5) Confirm deletion: After tapping the "Delete account permanently" button, a warning popup will appear. Confirm your decision by tapping "Yes."

6) Account deletion: Your user account will be deleted permanently, along with all associated data. It's important to note that this action is irreversible, so make sure you want to proceed before confirming.

By following these steps, you can successfully delete your user account in the MIA app, ensuring the removal of all your data from the platform.

If you adjust the font size on your phone, some buttons may go off-screen, making them inaccessible or invisible. This can affect your ability to interact with certain elements on your device. This issue is known, and we are currently working on optimizing this issue.

The MIA app is still in an early stage. Currently, earphones are not supported, and this may cause the app to crash. We recommend using the app without using your earphones or headphones. Additionally, we recommend turning off other apps that use your microphone to prevent issues.

If you are unable to proceed in the app in the usual manner, we advise you to reinstall the app from the app store or play store.
